Electric Winch
The electric winch is used to spool the Robot in or out along the vertical side of the ship during cleaning. The winch supports both manual and automatic control of the spooling. In automatic mode, you can set the spooling speed to a fixed value.
We recommend to manually control the speed of the winch during deployment and retrieval and use the automatic mode during cleaning.
The slower the winch goes, the more thorough the cleaning is.

- Runs off a 50Hz, 230V AC supply

Troubleshooting
This troubleshooting guide describes how to handle events that might happen when operating the electric winch.
The winch fails to power ON
1. Ensure the winch is connected to a live source of power.
2. Reset the Emergency stop on the control cabinet
3. Reset the Emergency stop on the remote control
4. Check that the electric cable is not damaged
The winch powered OFF
1. Check that the emergency stop has not been activated
2. Was the power supply interrupted?
3. Did the line pull exceed the SWL of the winch?
Is the cooling fan running in the correct direction? The air should be sucking into the housing. If it blows the phase should be changed on the electric connection attached to the winch-side using a flat screwdriver to overturn 2 sockets.
